Hunter success stories at the ranch
“There are several things that make Nevilles Whitetail Ranch unique. We have a variety of exotic animals like buffalo, gems buck, black buck, and kudu and we have some of the biggest whitetail deer in the country here on the ranch. For the avid hunter, we have anywhere from 200 to 350 inch deer here. I’d like to invite anyone and everyone out to Nevilles Whitetail Ranch to visit and enjoy the hunt and at the end of the day, sit here on the back porch of the lodge and just relax.”
“My mentors are Don Pickens and David Banny. They take us outdoors and what they do is take us outdoors and shooting, target practice and fishing. I have shot a deer before but Don Pickens told me I’m going to shoot a bigger deer here than I would ever shoot anywhere.”

“As a boy I remember my friends returning after holiday and feverishly describing fishing and hunting trips with their fathers. It was a tradition I didn’t quite understand and I grew up without that particular experience in my life.
Recently, I had the opportunity to visit Nevilles Whitetail Ranch and Devin, my guide that day, took me on my first hunt. I’ll admit, as we drove out of the lodge that morning, I could feel the sweat on my brow as I imagined missing my mark entirely or worse-injuring the animal. When the time came, I lifted my rifle and took my shot and my aim was true.
Afterwards, I understood the excitement my friends had felt as they shared their hunting stories with me when we were boys.
Today, I have a new appreciation for hunters and I am looking forward to bringing my 14-year old son to Nevilles Ranch this season.
This is, I hope, the beginning of our own tradition.”
